ॐ द्यौः शान्तिः अन्तरिक्षं शान्तिः पृथिवी शान्तिः
(Om Dyauh Shaantih Antarikssam Shaantih Prthivii Shaantih)
The entire universe is divided into three divisions:
1. Dyauh: The Sky or Heaven
2. Antariksha: The intermediate Space between the Sky and the Earth
3. Prthivi: The Earth
There is great Peace of the divine pervading this vast universe, pervading the three divisions of the Sky, Space and Earth. To feel that peace we need to be man-of-the-universe, where our identity (and therefore meditation) transcends the daily concerns and encompass the vast universe.
